Roberto Pacheco, 94, of Greenfield, passed away at home, surrounded by family, Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
Roberto was born April 5, 1923 in Guanajuato, Mexico and had been a resident of Monterey County for over 50 years. Roberto immigrated to the US through the Bracero Program, working in agriculture throughout the Salinas Valley. After retirement he enjoyed gardening and tending to his yard.
Roberto is survived by his 10 children; Cruz Pacheco, Arturo Pacheco, Isabel Pacheco, Yolanda Dominguez, Roberto Pacheco, Luisa Pacheco, Evelia Ayala, Gustavo Pacheco, Mary Navarro, Virginia Aguilar; 63 grandchildren; 94 great grandchildren; 5 siblings. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reveriana Pacheco in 1994; son, Paulino Pacheco in 1978; daughter, Guillermina Pacheco in 2011; and six brothers.
