DeLoris Lena Kment, age 95 of Stanton, died Saturday April 15, 2017 at Stanton Health Center surrounded by her family and friends. The daughter of Louis and Rosetta (Froehlich) Pohlman, Sr., DeLoris was born on March 30, 1922 at her parent's home in Stanton County, Nebraska. She grew up on a farm in northwest Stanton county where she attended rural school at Stanton County District #6. She attended 2 years at Stanton High School before graduating in 1939 from Winside High School.

On November 28, 1941 she married Rudolph Robert Kment in Stanton. They lived and farmed east of Stanton all their married life. In 1976 they remodeled the school house located on their property and lived there the rest of their lives. They were married just short of 60 years when Rudy passed away in 2001.

DeLoris was a Tupperware dealer for many years and work for the Norfolk Veterans Home for 2 years. She was a charter member of the Stanton Free Church and a member of the Stanton View Garden Club.

DeLoris accepted God's gift of salvation on January 6, 1944 through the ministry of Back to the Bible. She loved and served her Savior faithfully the rest of her life. She delivered around 200 Daily Breads to many people each quarter and was knows as a prayer warrior. In her little black PRAYER book she had the names of the many people she prayed for. She faithfully taught many children in Bible Clubs, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. DeLoris opened her heart and home to many persons in need.

She is survived by her children Loren and Ruth Kment of Norfolk; Dennis and Joyce Kment of Stanton; her Daughter-In-Law Sue Kment, the late Wayne Kment, of Stanton; Lois and Mike Morfeld of Phoenix, AZ; Lorelee (Hunt) Byrd of Arlington, NE; Marcy (Hunt) and Paul Shimada of Clinton, WA. She is survived by 18 Grandchildren; 42 Great Grandchildren; her sister Pauline Luttman and a sister-in-law Etta Rottler both of Stanton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Rudy in 2001; her son Wayne in 2005; sister Adeline Timperley; 2 Brothers Louis, Jr. and Alfred Pohlman; 6 sisters-in-law; 7 brothers-in-law and 5 great grandchildren.

Memorials to be directed to the ministry of Back to the Bible or as designated.
