Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, 77
Mrs. Eileen (nee Bird) De Franza, 77, of Cedar Grove, NJ, formerly of Nutley, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, April 6 at 8:15 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Mary's Church , Nutley at 9:30 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum , North Arlington. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 5 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. De Franza was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Nutley for 32 years before moving to Cedar Grove 20 years ago. She was a loving homemaker to her family.
Mrs. De Franza was a former Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's Church, Nutley.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Charles De Franza; her devoted sons Charlie De Franza, Jr. and his wife Veronica, and Michael De Franza and his wife Anna Maria; and also her cherished grandchildren Tiffany, Charlie III, Michael and Marisa.
