Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 78
Mrs. Adrienne L. (nee Dallanegra) Whitman, 78, of Nutley, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue, on Monday, April 3 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Tuesday, April 4 at 9:15 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Family Church , 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley at 10:30 a.m. The cremation will be held privately.
Mrs. Whitman was born Queens, NY and resided on the same street in Newark, NJ for 62 years before moving to Nutley seven years ago. She was a secretary for PSE &G, Newark. After raising her family, she re-entered the workforce as an assembly person for Wallace & Tiernan, Belleville. Mrs. Whitman attended Arts High in Newark as a music major and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of her husband and family. She loved animals of all kinds, especially dogs.
She is survived by her beloved children Bob (Belleville), Stephen (California), Dan (Nutley) and Pamela (Nutley & New Hope, PA); her 13 cherished grandchildren and five precious great-grandchildren; and her loving sister, Diane Diaz. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Whitman is predeceased by her husband Robert Whitman (January 10, 2017).
