Scharff, Edward Lee, 85 years old, of Lawrenceville, GA, formerly of Kettering, OH, passed away on 2/28/17. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Morris, Sr. and Rose Ellen Scharff, brother, Morris, Jr., sister Dr. Sandra Babcock, and son, David Brian Scharff.
Survivors are his loving wife of 65 years, Norma Jean , sister, Kay Tittle of Englewood, OH, son, Mark (Terrri) Scharff of Louisville, KY, daughters, Cindy (Bud) Troxel of Lakeland, FL, Debbie (Bill) Mayo of Rose Hill, KS, adopted daughter, Nel Barnett of Lawrenceville, GA. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jason (Lina) Scharff of Atlanta, GA, Casey, Courtney and Kristen Troxel of Lakeland, FL, Cory (Dorinda) Scharff of Knoxville, TN and Tyler Scharff of Renton, WA. Great Grandchildren Colton Scharff of Atlanta, GA, Kellan and Payce Scharff of Knoxville, TN.
Services will be held on March 25, 2017 at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 444 Bethesda Church Rd., Lawrenceville, GA at 10:00am with Reverands Dana Overton-Garrett and John Whatley officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Memorial Gardens. Contributions can be made to Bethesda Methodist United Church.
