Freddie "Lee" Jeffries III, loving husband, proud father, kind-hearted son, easy-going brother, and loyal friend, passed away suddenly at his home in Chester, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. He resided there for the past thirteen months after moving from Baltimore, Maryland.

Lee was born to Freddie Jeffries and the late Helen Jeffries, in Seattle, Washington. He was the youngest of five children and their only son.

He was friendly, funny, playful and often mischievous with his older sisters throughout his childhood. During his younger years, Lee enjoyed riding bikes, skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, playing baseball, and exploring in the woods with his friends. More recently, he enjoyed spending time with his children, and was an avid Washington Redskins fan.

Upon moving to Beltsville, Maryland, Lee briefly attended High Point High School prior to graduating from Cedars Academy in Bridgeville, Delaware. He attended Delaware State University with a major in general studies until he could get a ride home.

Lee returned to Maryland where he began working in various trades such as carpentry, tow truck operation, carpet laying, painting, and an arborist. His last employer was the James Logan Moving Company.

Lee married the love of his life, Jessica Jeffries, on April 24, 2016. Between them, he proudly raised their children, Angel, Tony, Dezmin, Jayla, and James. He was most proud of his children and their accomplishments. They were the twinkle in his eye.

Lee is survived by his wife Jessica Jeffries; father Freddie Lee Jeffries; two daughters, Angel and Jayla; three sons, Tony, Dezmin and James; four sisters Ivy Jeffries, Nashville, Tennessee, Elizabeth (Dave Smith), Encinitas, California, Terri (Kyle Jones), Baltimore, Maryland, Joyce (Dave Cichy), Corrales, New Mexico; father and mother-in-law Jesse and Brenda Coleman; sisters-in-law, Carrie McLaughlin, Heather Coleman; brother-in-law, Tony Coleman (all of Baltimore, Maryland), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
