Laura Marie Stone, age 47 of Norfolk, died Sunday January 1, 2017 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. She was born September 16, 1969 the daughter of Michael and Dona (Polaschek) Stone, she attended Erskine Public School at Erskine, MN was a 1988 Graduate of Mahnomen High School at Mahnomen, MN. Laura attended Morehead Technical School at Morehead, MN trained as a Chef. She worked for Sunshine Bakery in Morehead while attending school.
After graduation she worked at The Uptown Café in Norfolk. Laura attended Joseph's School of Beauty in Norfolk and after graduation worked at Regis and Cost Cutters in Norfolk, she continued work at Sally's Beauty Supply in Norfolk.
Laura enjoyed crocheting, fishing and really enjoyed time spent with her niece and nephews and more recently with her great nieces and nephews and her 2 cats Cocoa and Gizmo.
Survivors include her Mother Dona & her husband Ed Steffen of Yankton, SD; her Father Michael and Donna Stone of Sebeka, MN; 3 Sisters Bobbi Jo and Kevin Domogalla of Stanton; Julie and Scott Greve of Stanton; Michael and John Klinkhammer of Shevlin, MN; 5 nephews and a niece Richard and Leva Domogalla of Stanton; Olivia Domogalla and Robert Santiago of Norfolk; Cody Stone of Stanton; Zach Greve of Pearl City, Hawaii; Jordan and Lucas Klinkhammer of Shevlin, MN; 1 great niece and 3 great nephews.
Preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, 1 uncle Wayne Polaschek and 1 nephew Theodore Domogalla; Uncle Dave Stone; Aunt Agnes Stone.

Funeral Services: St. Luke's Lutheran Church – Stanton, NE
Date: Thursday January 5, 2017 – 1:00 P.M.
Interment: At a later date – Prospect Hill Cemetery – Norfolk, NE
Military Rites: none
Visitation: 5-7 P.M. Wednesday at Shultz-Vogel-Johnson Mortuary in Stanton.
