Raymond L. Actkinson, 91, of Richmond, Texas passed away on November 30, 2016. He was born on December 22, 1924 in Faxon, Oklahoma to Claude and Thelma Actkinson. Ray honorably and proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed with Nabisco for over 42 years, retiring as a Branch Manager. This loving father, grandfather, brother and friend will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Blanche; and siblings, John, Peggy, Bill, Curtis and Anita. Survivors include his sons, Keith Actkinson, and Scott Actkinson and wife, Ann; grandsons, Blake and Michael Actkinson; siblings, Tommy, Reba and Jelane; along with other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
