Robert Bader of Indialantic, Florida (formerly of Thornwood and Pleasantville, NY) passed away November 23, 2016 in his home at the age of 56. He was born September 5, 1960 in San Diego, CA to Mildred (Howard) and Arthur Bader of White Plains, NY. Known for being a body-builder, Robert loved being in the gym. In 1982 Robert was awarded the title of "Mr. Westchester." In competition he broke several power-lifting records, in one case his score alone was more than that of an entire team's total. He loved Elvis, The Beatles, cooking, target shooting, movies and bicycling. He graduated from Westlake High School in 1978 and worked at Floorcraft, the family business, in Thornwood NY before retiring to Florida with his wife. Robert loved his family and friends deeply. His kind and generous heart touched everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. Robert is survived by his beloved wife Stephanie (Yarabek) and adoring daughter Nicole. Robert is also survived by his loving family, father Arthur and four sisters; Alice Bueti /Tony (Carmel, NY) ; Barbara Parise (Yorktown, NY) ; Susan Casey (Carmel, NY) ; Leslie Peltier (Auburn, NY) ; as well as many nieces and nephews. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Interment Private.
