Rebecca (Becky) Hilbrich passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 83 with her family by her side. Becky was born on July 29, 1933 in Thompsons, Texas to Ben A Tucker and Vada Lee Wright-Tucker-Hardy. She attended a two room school in Thompsons until the 6th grade and went on to graduate from Lamar Consolidated High School. Becky worked briefly at Herfort's Jewelry Store and the Telephone Company before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force and served for 3 years. Eventually she retired in San Antonio, where she has resided for the past several years. She was a member of the American Legion, member of the Sheriffs Association of Texas, was an avid reader and enjoyed playing games on a daily basis. Known as "Ma" to her grandchildren, Becky took great pride in instilling values and using life lessons to help her family be the best they could be. This loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend will truly be missed.

Survivors include her sister, Edna Alice Jones; children, Debra Ann Smith, Felicia Ann Villafana, and Phillip Anthony Hilbrich; grandchildren, Christa Lollis and husband, Scott, Jonathan Smith and fiancée Jacqui, Nicole Villafana, and Anthony Hilbrich; great grandchildren, Logan and Connor Lollis, and Sophia Willis. Becky opened her heart to extended family: Teresa Demangos and husband, Dan and their children, Noah, Ryan and Katie; and Ted Smith and wife, Hollie and their children, Averie, Austin, Tyler – wife, Adriana and their son, Oliver; nephew, Harley Wayne Jones and wife, Debbie; niece, Phyllis Evon Knesek and husband, Blake; niece, Laura Alice Kubena and husband, Joseph; and nephew, Phillip Wade Jones; along with other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2016 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

The service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Becky is a three time Breast Cancer survivor and to honor her, the family would ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
