Brenda J. (Beck) Slawinski, 69, of Needville, Texas passed away on November 7, 2016. She was born on March 11, 1947 in Galveston, Texas. Brenda retired from Fort Bend Federal after 20+ years of service. She was the proud "Nana" to her seven grandchildren and enjoyed doting on them at all times. Often times you could find Brenda in the kitchen making her famous biscuits and gravy, banana pudding or her sour cream pound cake - to name a few. She enjoyed trips to the casino and crocheting. This loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend will be missed.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Otis Beck; her mother, Helen (Mays) Evans; and her siblings, Janet Dreager, Howard Beck and Pauline Whitlock.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James Slawinski; children, Tammy Hedt, Stacy Slawinski and wife, Tamara, and Chad Slawinski and wife, Angela; sisters, Donna Harding and husband, Roger; sister-in-law, Linda Beck; brother-in-law, Ronnie Whitlock; grandchildren, Tyler and Jared Hedt; Olivia, Lilly and Luke Slawinski, and Seth and Allyson Slawinski; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

The service celebrating Brenda's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
