Adele (Gollin) Schuetze, 87, of Kensington, passed away Thursday (September 8, 2016) at Amberwoods of Farmington. Born in Germany, Adele was a former East Berlin resident, moved to Kensington in 1984. She worked at Dukon Corporation in Berlin for 27 years, retiring in 1996. Adele was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in New Britain. Surviving are three sons, Henry C Schuetze of New Britain, Timothy Schuetze and his wife Linda of Manheim, PA; and Richard Schuetze of Reidsville, NC; a daughter, Cathy Schuetze of Middletown; a brother, William Gollin of Terryville; sisters, Freida Summers of Cleveland, OH and Henrietta Gollin of Cromwell, two grandchildren, Sinclaire and Brendan Schuetze, both of Manheim, PA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Friday (Sept 16, 2016) 11 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 295 Arch Street, New Britain, CT 06051. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
