George Roosevelt Price a.k.a. "Maskman" was born December 13, 1933 to the late Luther and Delores Price in Coalwood, West Virginia. He was predeceased by his oldest daughter Robin Price. George peacefully passed away on June 20, 2016 while surrounded by his family.

He graduated from Liberty High School in Williamson, West Virginia in 1953. Later, he enlisted in the military for 10 years serving in the United States Army as Infantryman during Korean War. George was a tremendous provider for his loved ones and was a diligent, hardworking man his entire life.

During his time as member of the Local 413 Union in Chester, Pennsylvania, he worked in masonry and played a significant role in the construction of several sites throughout the Tri-State area built over the years.
In addition, George was employed by The Boeing Company in Tinicum, Pennsylvania where he helped build aircrafts for forty eight years. In spite of the amount time he devoted to work, he always found time to enjoy life. A few of his favorite past times included playing baseball, golfing, attending professional football games, and traveling.
George was a man of few words which was a testament to his capacity for spontaneity. Not unlike fulfilling his beloved wife's dream of visiting Paris with her husband, or realizing the importance of ensuring that his grand children's perception of the world wasn't limited to the scope of their daily surroundings. "Pop Pop", as he was often called by his grandchildren, could be found in his spare time taking impromptu road trips across state lines with his grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife of thirty-seven years Blanche; four sons, Edward, Nathaniel, Ronald and Alvin; four daughters Latrice, Nicole, Jaime and Aniqua; grand-children Dahmir, Dahqui, Dahkeem, Alicia, Saniyyah, Sierra, Paris, LaQuan, Alayshia, Trinity, Gianna, Mario, Riccy, Jory, Jaren, De'Rin, Gavin, Sherelle, Kenny, and Mariah; and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
