William McLaren, 61, died on Thursday, June 16, 2016 in Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, NJ.
The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Monday June 20, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. A funeral mass will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m.
William was born and raised in Kearny. He has lived in North Arlington for the last 21 years.
He worked as a mail handler for the USPS at the Dominick V. Daniels Processing & Distribution Center in Kearny for the last 30 years. Mr. McLaren was a member of the Laborers' International Union of North America, (LiUNA) Local 300 as well as a member of the National Rifle Association.
William is survived by his wife, Mary (nee McChesney) McLaren ; one daughter, Katie McLaren; his mother Agnes (nee Dickson) McLaren; siblings Richard McLaren (Janet) and Denise Rodgers (Thomas). He was the brother-in-law of Catherine Boyarko, Ann Marie Incalcaterra and Daniel and Sean McChesney and son-in-law of Mary Alice McChesney.
