Mary Dadasis, 90, passed away April 17, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Manchester on January 20, 1926, a daughter of Peter and Penelope (Papadopolos) Karafotis. She was a graduated of Manchester Central High School and attended the New Hampshire Institute of Art. Mary was joined in marriage with John Dadasis on November 6, 1960. She was a mortgage processor at the Amoskeag Bank for many years and enjoyed working and volunteering at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, where she was a member of the Anagennesis Ladies Society. Mary loved art and painting. She was an exceptional Greek cook who took great pride in teaching her secrets to her children and grandchildren. She loved to read, travel with family and spend her summers with family by the ocean.

Mary will be deeply missed by her loving family including her two daughters, Pamela (Dadasis) McNamara and Alexis Nowakowski and her husband Troy; three grandchildren, Kristina and John McNamara and Cameron Nowakowski; two sisters, Eve Rodis and Sophia Chiotelis and her husband Nicholas; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death in 2000 by her loving husband of 41 years, John; a brother, Christopher Karafotis; and a sister, Georgia Chekos.

Services: Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 607 Chestnut Street, Manchester. The funeral service will begin at 12 pm on Friday, April 22, 2016 at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street, Manchester. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
