Edward J. Raber 39 of Sugarcreek died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 6, 2016. He was born April 28, 1976 in Wayne County to Jonas D. and Katie (Schlabach) Raber of Millersburg. He was employed at Miller Barns at Berlin for the past 15 years and was a member of Sharon Mennonite Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Miller whom he married February 14, 1998; his three sons Leighton Merrall, Justin Cordelle and Derek Tyrell Raber all of the home, brother Daniel (Linda) Raber of Millersburg, two sisters Freda (Roy) Miller of Millersburg and Ruthy (Joe) Raber of Westcliffe, Colorado and grandparents Mose (Anna) Schlabach of Millersburg. Services will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Sharon Mennonite Church 1717 CR 140 Sugarcreek with Pastors Tom Mullet and Ed Yoder officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Church. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
