Laura O. Mast 64 of Millersburg (Walnut Creek) died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg following a short illness. She was born December 16, 1951 in Dover to the late Owen and Esther (Yoder) Miller. She was a member of Walnut Creek Mennonite Church, enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling the grandchildren and spending winters in Florida with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Ben M. Mast whom she married May 8, 1975; her children Jon (Cassie) Mast and Julie (Marshall Baird both of Berlin; 5 grandchildren Tyler and Evelyn Mast and Peyton, Ryan and Ava Baird, her brothers and sister Raymond (Marie) Miller, Sara Ann (Larry) Yoder, John "Duke" Miller and Dan Miller all of Sugarcreek and sister-in-law Alta Miller of Sugarcreek. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Olen Miller. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church with Pastor Don Hamsher officiating. Family burial will be held prior to services in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 5-7 PM and Monday 1-3 and 5-7 PM all at the Walnut Creek Mennonite Church. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek. Memorials may be made to Agora Ministries C/O Walnut Creek Mennonite Church PO Box 182 Walnut Creek, Ohio 44687.
