Lheeta Mae (Carlin) Talbott 86, of Canton, took her final journey on Friday January 1, 2016 at 6:00 PM in her residence. Born August 7, 1929 in Canton she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Wirth) Carlin. Lheeta had traveled to 4 continents, 22 countries and all 50 states. She worked at several places including Lawsons, and Millers Sales. Lheeta retired in 1986 from Best Products at Canton. She spent many years volunteering with Girl Scouts, The Wilderness Center and Community Christmas. Lheeta was Methodist by faith. Her husband of 39 years, Charles E. Talbott, preceded her in death on July 30, 1986. Lheeta is survived by her 3 daughters Lynn M. Talbott (Spouse Karen Madzia) of Canton, Kathryn "Tal" Talbott (Spouse Connie Fair) of Canton and Mary M. Talbott (Spouse Cori Loughman) of Heath; her 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Bryce and AsiaTalbott, Jayson, Cody and Lorrie Farmer; her sisters and a brother; David Carlin, Mary Lou Welch, Kathryn "Kitty" Schneider, Roberta "Bobby" Evans, Francis "Frankee" Smith, and Margaret "Peggy" Bishman; her cousin, Cheryl Ann Schaffner; scores of loving neighbors including Tony and Cahrista Gillilan and family; and 47 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother, James Carlin, and her sisters Virginia "Ginny" Marion, and Dorothy Ann Carlin.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Lebold-Smith Funeral Home at 248 Park Ave. Bolivar. Pastor Anissa Glaser-Bacon will officiate and burial will follow in Fort Laurens Cemetery at Bolivar. Friends may call Monday from 12:00 Noon until time of services at the funeral home. Family would like to sincerely thank Crossroads Hospice and Lheeta's loving family and friends who supported them this last week. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Suite E Green, OH 44685 or The Wilderness Center 9877 Alabama Avenue SW., Wilmot, Ohio 44689 in memory of Lheeta.
