Andy A. Raber 79 of 3497 CR 135 Millersburg passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 5:15 AM in his home. He was born June 22, 1936 in Holmes County to the late Abe and Maggie (Miller) Raber. He is retired from the Saw Mill and is a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Maudie Miller whom he married on November 26, 1957; his children Amanda (Owen) Hershberger of Walnut Creek, Katie (Mervin) Kline, Elsie (Wayne) Troyer and Erma (Norman) Troyer all of Millersburg, Betty (Atlee) Weaver of Fredericksburg and Linda (Jacob) Miller of the home, a son-in-law Jacob Miller of Millersburg, a daughter-in-law Katie (Bob) Weaver of Fredericksburg, 31 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 brothers; Dan (Sarah) Raber of Millersburg, Melvin (Susie) Raber, Abe Jr. (Esther) Raber and Fred (Mary) Raber all of Sugarcreek, 4 sisters Lavina Barnett of Cleveland, Katie (Eli) Troyer and Clara (Jacob) Yoder both of Sugarcreek and Saloma (Andy) Yoder of Millersburg and brother-in-law Levi Raber of Millersburg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Daniel, daughter Marie, two grandsons Allen and Arron, two sisters Mattie and Cindy and a brother Vernon. Services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 9:00 AM at the Nelson Weaver Residence 3571 CR 135 Millersburg with Bishop Marvin Coblentz officiating. Burial will be in the Raber Cemetery in Walnut Creek Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call any time at the Nelson Weaver Residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
