Raymond Harvey Kramer., 95, of Clarkston (formerly of Lapeer), died Thursday, December 24, 2015.

Raymond was born June 18, 1920 in Hadley to parents Harvey & Murle (Stacy) Kramer. He graduated from Hadley High School, class of 1939. Raymond proudly served his country in the US Air Force during WWII where he was a flight engineer on a B-17, flying bombing missions over Germany. Raymond was an electrician at General Motor, retiring in 1975 after 36 years of service to the company.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Ruby Kramer; children: Darrell (Janet) Kramer of Arizona, Janet (Michael) Hluchaniuk of Williamston, Mary (Gary) Bates of Lapeer and Dennis (Debra) Kramer of Texas; step-daughter, Kim Kramer of Clarkston; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Doris Parrish of Colt and her brother, Dean Matznick. Raymond is also survived by many other loving family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Mr. Kramer was preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Vinnie Lou (Brooks) Kramer; grandson, Bryan Hluchaniuk; brother, Dale Matznick; step-daughter, Robyn Smith and his parents.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00AM Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Raymond's funeral will be 11:00AM Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Muir Brothers. Burial will be at Metamora Cemetery with military honors under the auspices of the American Legion Post #16 Honor Guard .

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the American Heart Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
