Joe Kienzle, 64, of Bolivar passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at The Aultman Compassionate Care Center in Canton following a 20 month battle with cancer.
Joe was born April 15, 1951 in Dover to the late Gordon and Geneva Kienzle. He married the former Cynthia Moore in December of 1983, sharing 32 years together.
Joe was a cement truck driver for Diano Supply in Canton for the past 25 years, he was very proud of his work. He was a former member of the Bolivar Village Fire Department, where he served for 25 years. He was very passionate about tattoos and loved to show his own. Joe always loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; his 7 children, Joe Kienzle Jr. of Mineral City, Ericka Reis (Joe Evans) of Waynesburg, Megan (Kyle) Casada of Massillon, Steven Scott (Tara Fiddler) Kienzle of Waynesburg, Johanna Williams of Strasburg, Brittany (Ryan) Mann of Massillon, Breanna Kienzle of Bolivar; his 11 grandchildren; his brother, Richard Kienzle of Dover; and his sister, Mary Jane (Dan) Stacy of Ravenna.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Lebold-Smith Funeral Home at 248 Park Ave. Bolivar. The Bolivar Fire Department will conduct a Last Alarm Service at 7 PM in closing. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to: National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, PO Drawer 498 Emmitsburg, MD 21727. For those unable to attend please visit the funeral home's web site to share a memory and sign the guest register.
