Charles Henry Thomas was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on August 8, 1949 and departed this life on December 6, 2015 at Belvedere Care Center in Chester, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late James and Marguerite Thomas and educated in the Chester Upland School District.
He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War and later was stationed in Itzehoe, Germany. Mr. Thomas was employed as a Furnace Operator at Bethlehem Steel for many years He loved his family and won several awards as a "hot rod" driver.
He loved to travel and was formerly a member of Linwood Lodge #87, and Minaret Temple A.E.A.O.N.M.S. He was a avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and at one time was married to Sandra Dickerson Thomas. He was predeceased by 2 children Charles H. Thomas, Jr., and Zeruiah E. Thomas.
He leaves to cherish fond memories his daughter Cimmiah Thomas-Dallam, son in law William "June" Dallam, a brother Cleon "Beetle" Gibbs, 8 grandchildren Breyana, Alanna, Cimmiah, Brittany, Samad, Kylie, Zeruiah, and William; and a host of other relatives and friends.
