Funeral services for Janice Fae Weatherford, 74, of San Antonio, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Brian Tyre officiating. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.

She passed away Tuesday morning, December 1, 2015, at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital in San Antonio surrounded by her family.

Janice was born September 18, 1941, in Wills Point, the daughter of William Boyd Davis and Lola Mae Shaw Davis. She was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1959. Janice was formerly employed at Haggar Pant Company in Greenville, a licensed beautician, and retired from Wal-Mart in San Antonio in 2008, after thirty-three years of service. She enjoyed sewing, reading, yard work, playing games on her iPad and traveling. Janice loved her family very much and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. She lived in Wills Point prior to moving to San Antonio sixteen years ago. She was a World Vision sponsor for children. Janice was a member of Oak Hills Church in San Antonio.

Preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Lola Mae Davis and a brother, Jackie Davis.

Janice is survived by her son, Wayne Weatherford & fiancee, Janet McKinney, of Nacogdoches; three daughters, Tammy Verser & husband, Greg, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Nancy Wilson & husband, Junior, of Batesville, Arkansas and Shawnda Becerra & husband, Robert, of San Antonio; two brothers, Ken Autry Davis & wife, Rosa, of Wills Point and Billy Don Davis & wife, Mary Jane, of Tatum; sister, Betsy Cavin & husband, Ronnie, of Wills Point; ten grandchildren, Zachary Weatherford, Shane Weatherford, Joshua Weatherford, Sarah Weatherford, Rustin Hitchcock, Clint Hitchcock, Brittany Carpenter, Matthew Wilson, Alexandria Becerra and McKenzie Becerra and two great-grandchildren, Autumn Weatherford and Charley Ann Carpenter.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning one hour prior to funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to World Vision in Janice's memory.
