The night prior to her death Paula was up playing the piano, singing and playing with her grandchildren. On Sunday, November 22, 2015, she was given her angel wings surrounded by her family and friends.

Paula was born August 12, 1932, in Island, Kentucky. Her childhood was spent with her parents, Renzo and Roxie Brown Payne in Island, Kentucky at their home, Brown's Hotel. On July 5, 1952, she married Lloyd McMillon. They made their home in St. Louis, Missouri, where they raised their children. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church, where she was the pianist. They retired to Florida in 1974, where they enjoyed the beach, family and friends. Paula told stories all the time that kept everyone laughing especially about Jim and all his animal friends. The last few years of her life her home was with her loving son, Jim and his wife, Judy, who was also her best friend.

Preceded in death by her parents; Renzo and Roxie Payne; three brothers, R.M., Frank and Jack and a sister, Reatha.

Paula is survived by her son, Jim McMillon & wife, Judy, of Canton; daughter, Keitha Henderson & husband, Mike, of Cahokia, Illinois; two sisters, Charlene and Jean; seven grandchildren, Amber, Jimmy, Kevin, Jennifer, Sean, Elizabeth and Zachary; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her special friends, Josie and Arzis.

Jim and Judy want to express their heartfelt thanks to all of their friends and family for caring for and loving Paula as their own. Also, we want to thank all her caregivers who took such good care of her.
