Graveside service for Wilma Fay Mondy, 89, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2015, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston. Services are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She took her last breath early Thursday morning, November 19, 2015, at her residence in Wills Point.

Wilma was born January 15, 1926, in Forestburg, Texas, the daughter of Elbert King Nethery and Sarah Jane Barclay Nethery. She was raised in Forestburg, where she attended public school. On May 29, 1950, she married Clement R. Mondy in Rockwall. Wilma was formerly employed as a manager for Mangum Terrace Apartments in Houston. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and cooking. Wilma was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and always looked forward to spending time with her family. She lived in Houston prior to moving to Wills Point twenty years ago. Wilma was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and her current membership was in Wills Point.

Preceded in death by her parents, Elbert King Nethery and Sarah Jane Nethery; husband, Clement Ray "Charlie" Mondy, Sr.; son, David Lynn Mondy, Sr.; step-son, Clement Ray "Charles" Mondy, Jr.; step-grandson, Charles Alan Mondy; brother, Albert Ernest Nethery; two sisters Vera May Nethery Jackson and Exa Juanita Nethery Mobley Veal.

Wilma is survived by her step-daughter-in-law, Peggy Joyce Bowen Mondy, of Houston; grandson, David Lynn "D.J." Mondy, Jr. and great-grandson, Devin Patrick Mondy, both of Boonesville, AR; step-grandchildren, Catherine Elaine Mondy Boyce & husband, Peter, of Delmont, NJ and Cynthia Lynn Mondy Howard, of Dallas; step-great grandchildren, James Clifford Chambers, Sr., of Millville, NJ, Amy Catherine Sibert Fowler & husband, Steven, of Franklin, MA, Christopher Alan Halik, of Rosharon, Stephanie Grace Sibert Peart & husband, Gary of Vineland, NJ, Douglas Benjamin Howard, of Rosharon, Rebecca Joyce Sibert, of Franklin, MA and Laura Anne Sibert, of Millville, NJ; step-great great grandchildren, Kate Elizabeth Chambers and James Clifford "C.J." Chambers Jr., both of Millville, NJ; care-giver, Sharon Halik, of Wills Point; many nieces; nephews and friends.
