Memorial service for Carl Wayne Berg, 68, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor David Cartwright officiating.

He passed away Saturday evening, November 14, 2015, at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville.

Carl was born May 14, 1947, in Wessington Springs, South Dakota, the son of Frederick Herman Berg, Sr. and Laverne D. Knigge Berg. He was raised in Rapid City, South Dakota, where he attended public school. Carl was a veteran of the United States, Navy. He was employed by Ted Keeling Inc. in Dallas as a welder, retiring in 2011. He enjoyed wood working and working on his trucks. Carl has lived in Wills Point for the past thirty years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Herman Berg, Sr. and his brother, Frederick Herman Berg, Jr.

Carl is survived by his mother, Laverne D. Berg, of Wills Point; step-son, Jordan Daugherty, of Quinlan; two step-daughters, Jamie Daugherty, of Arkansas and Bri Anna Daugherty, of Arkansas; two brothers, Jim Berg, of Wills Point and Ronnie Berg, of Wills Point; sister, Ruby Berg, of Wills Point and two grandchildren.
