Sarah J. Shrock 84 of 7895 Stoney Point Road Sugarcreek died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at her home after a brief illness following a stroke. She was born March 3, 1931 in Holmes County to the late John D. and Sarah (Troyer) Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. She was married December 4, 1952 to Emanuel E. "Mony" Shrock who died October 5, 1998. She is survived by her children Eli (Ella) Shrock of Rosebush, MI, Mark (Miriam) Shrock of the home, and Reuben (Katie) Shrock of Sugarcreek, son-in-law Evan (Mattie) Weaver of Sugarcreek 15 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, a brother Ammon (Lydiann) Miller of Danville, and a sister Emma (Eli D.) Yoder of Michigan. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter Cindy, a granddaughter Mary, 2 great grandchildren, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 9:00 AM at the Shrock Residence with Bishop Daniel I. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery in Sugarcreek Twp., Tuscarawas County. Friends may call anytime at the Shrock Residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.
