He retired from the City of Atlantic City Public Works after many years of service. He served Airman Third Class Air Forces of the United States. He is predeceased by: wife, Joan C. Dato Forbey; parents, Eugene and Bertha M. Harmon Forbey; brothers, Gene and Reginald Forbey; sister, Alice (Mitchell) Forbey; grandsons, Norman Forbey and Lequan Bishop.

Norman was a HANDSOME, STRONG, HARDWORKING, FIESTY, LOVING FAMILY MAN. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, watching westerns, he had a fine love of his musical instruments, boxing and being with family. He loved horses, birds, and squirrels which still comes on his porch looking for food. You could catch him playing his lottery or hanging back with his fellas enjoying life. You could always catch a glimpse of him riding by in his truck he loved so dearly.

He was a fine dresser as you can see. Norman traveled the world and he lived his life to the fullest. He fought a battle on and off the field, his last days he never complained not once he is a STRONG and VERY PROUD MAN. He raised his 4 children as reflection of him and they will carry on his legacy until the end. Norman was well know and will be missed by many. As he would say "Go on somewhere" with his hand motion.

We Love You!
