Roberta J. Corbitt of Newtonville passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015. Mrs. Corbitt taught for more than 26 years in the Galloway Township school system, retiring in 1991. In retirement, she was active in the community serving as President of the Newtownville, Buena Vista Township Seniors. She initiated the Community Food Pantry and served on the Atlantic County Seniors Advisory Council. She was a member of St. Paul AME Church in Pleasantville where she was a member of the Pastor's Aid Committee.
Roberta is predeceased by: parents, Belva and Theodore Ecton. She is survived by: her husband, George Norman Corbitt; children, Conrad R. Williams, MD (Joyce Carol); Mal J. Williams (Mark Rockwell), Susan Williams Howard (John), and Diane Corbitt Brawley (Preston); 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
