Funeral services for Shirley Gene Kizzia, 61, of Wills Point are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery north of Wills Point.

She passed away Sunday morning, October 11, 2015, at her residence.

Shirley was born August 31, 1954, in Wills Point, the daughter of Gene Cornwell and Mary Lou Glick Cornwell. She was raised by her father and step-mother, Joyce Cornwell in Wills Point, where she attended public school. On March 17, 2006, she married Joe Kizzia in Wills Point. Shirley was employed by ASC in Terrell, Home Depot in Terrell, Wal-Mart in Quinlan and At Home Health Care in Wills Point, retiring in 2015. She enjoyed fishing and shooting her BB gun. She lived in Dallas prior to moving back to Wills Point twenty-five years ago. Shirley was a member of Elwood Baptist Church north of Wills Point.

Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Williams; step-mom, Joyce Cornwell; son, Chris Bowling on October 12, 2012 and father-in-law, Millard Kizzia.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Joe Kizzia, of Wills Point; father, Gene Cornwell, of Wills Point; son, Eric Bowling & wife, Rebecca, of Wills Point; two daughters, April Baucom & husband, Kevin, of Athens and Melissa Millsap, of Pittsburg; two brothers, James Cornwell & wife, Beverly, of Wills Point and Mike Goggans & wife, Debbie, of Wills Point; two sisters, Pam Stark & husband, Kevin, of Dallas and Lafonda Stepp, of Arkansas; 14 grandchildren, Matthew Gene, Cory, Nathan, Dylan, Andy, Dreama, Payton, Stephen, Clayton, Kyndel, Abbie, Mickey, Delanee and Gabe; mother-in-law, Janetta Ford, of Oklahoma; nieces, nephews and other family members.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
