Eddy Joseph Noel (Uncle Ed), age 65, a longtime Bridgeport resident, went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. He was born in Bridgeport the devoted son of the late Adrienne and Edgar Noel. He leaves behind his heartbroken siblings, Jeannine Ciocca (Americo), Yvette Swanson (Jerry), Vivian Gingolaski (John), and Louis Noel (Lily), plus 40 nieces and nephews. During his ten year battle with diabetes, he was blessed with the companionship and help of many friends who enriched his life with their visits, phone calls, rides to the doctors, haircuts, ect. Everyone enjoyed being with Eddy, he never complained and made everyone laugh and smile even at the end. He had a big loving heart and great sense of humor. The family wishes to thank his nurse, Barbara, and his neighbor, Myrtle, for all the years of care and friendship they provided, and also the staff of the Bridgeport Hospital, and Davita Dialysis Center in Shelton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM meeting DIRECTLY at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield, CT 06825. Burial will be private. The Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S Benson Rd., Fairfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
