Helen O. Mattingly age 89, formerly of Chatham Twp. passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Elm's Retirement Village in Wellington, OH.
She was born in Lodi, OH on July 12, 1926 to Nelson and Marie (Johnson) Barnum and had attended Lodi High School. She was a lifetime resident of Medina County.
Helen had worked at National Disposal and Hobart in Medina for a number of years before retiring and was a former member of the Chatham Grange.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, daughter Elaine Selzer, sister Betty Barnum, brother John Murton Barnum and step-daughter Dawn.
Funeral service will be Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, OH.
Pastor Bud Olszewski will officiate.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Elm's Retirement Village/Sprenger Health Care Systems of Wellington for the wonderful care given to Helen.
