Shirley L. Frazier King, 79, of Wheeling, died Thursday, June 17, 2015 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV.
She was born October 16, 1935 in Leaksville, NC, a daughter of the late Allen C. and Lonia Galloway Frazier.

Shirley was a retired, well known beautician of the Ohio Valley and a devoted member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Shirley was a graduate of Wheeling's Lincoln High School, then after, she completed the study and practical training in cosmetology and hairdressing at the Erma Lee Beauty School in Cleveland, OH and received her diploma on July 13, 1956.

Throughout her life, she resided in Wheeling, a trusted servant of the community via her profession. In 2010, she was recognized by the Ohio Valley Black Heritage Festival, for outstanding leadership and business.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore T. King, her sister, Carrie Walker and good friend, Major Black.

Surviving are her nephew, Larry(Karen)Blanchard of Canfield, OH; niece, Charlene(Alfred)Alexander of Martins Ferry, OH, great nephews and nieces; Joshua, Brandon and Kara Blanchard; Alfred, Jr. and Tiffany Alexander; great great nephews and nieces; Tyler Blanchard, Brenden, Chace and Tionna Alexander, good friend, Rev. Robert Black and a host of other relatives and friends including, cousin, Amsa Harvey and friend Florence Walters.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, WV 26003.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 11:00am at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 105-12th St. Wheeling, with the Rev. Dr. Melvin G. Rippy officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
