Nancy Carolyn Sandall Jennings
Nancy Jennings, 78, in answer to her prayers for God to take her home peacefully, passed away on June 15, 2015 at 4:08 p.m. after a long struggle with illness. Nancy loved her Lord and always trusted in His provisions. She was a Prayer Warrior for her family and many other people as well. Her kindness and generosity caused her to give, even when she herself may have had little. She loved her family and was ever so proud of each of them.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ben Jennings.
She is also predeceased by loving and supportive parents, Tommy and Ruth Sandall. She is survived by her son, Frank (Lynne) and her grandchildren Christy Duren (Joseph), David and Sarah.
She is survived also by her daughter, Melinda Crowling (Winnie) and grandchildren Diana Crowling Intagliata (Andrew) and Kevin Crowling. She is also survived by her son, Steve Jennings (Mickey) and grandsons John and Charles.

The family wishes to thank the staff of All Heart Home Health including Chris and Tracy. Also very special thanks to Melissa, her nurse, who was always there for her. In addition, thanks to the staff of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center for the exemplary care they provided.

A visitation with family will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:00pm and a funeral celebration of life at 1:00pm, both at Hickory United Methodist Church 2708 S. Battlefield Blvd. Memorial donations may be made to Hickory United Methodist Church.

Her faith sustained her and her faith has led her home.
She will not have to suffer anymore.

When I Get to Heaven

When I get to Heaven, is there room at the cross for me? Have I lived like He wanted me to? When my time comes and I find myself in front of the Book of Life, will my name be there? Will I be able to see God's face and will he say,
"Well done my faithful daughter?"
When I get to Heaven, there WILL BE room for me.
I have lived like He wanted me to!
Written by Nancy Jennings during the last two days of her life
