Ellendel "Del" Howard Ross, 79, of Greenville, wife of the late Lester Abbit Ross, Jr., died Sunday, March 01, 2015.
Born in Pickens County, she was daughter of the late Geneva Sumpter Howard.
She was a retired employee of the Greenville County School District. She was a charter member of the South Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals, where she served as President in 2000. She faithfully served the Lord for more than 50 years as a church organist. She was an active member of Earle Street Baptist Church where she served as a Team Leader of Prayer Ministry and Bereavement.
She is survived by one daughter, Tami Dailey of Greenville; one son, Tim Ross (Elaine) of Summerville; five grandchildren, Valerie Ross Furman (Seth), Christina Ross White (Brad), Chelsea Ross, Keith Dailey; four great-grandchildren, Kayla and Tyler Furman, and Kendra and Bradley White.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Beverly Ross.

Visitation will be held
Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in the Earle Street Baptist Church Social Hall from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service in the Sanctuary at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley, SC.
The family will be at their respective homes.
