Martha Dianah Harrell Butler, 97, of Greenville, wife of the late Rev. Charles W. Butler, died Friday, February 27, 2015.
Born in Ivor, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Helen Harrell.
Mrs. Butler was a homemaker. She was a member of Holmes Memorial Church.
She is survived by two sons, William C. Butler (Vivian) of Greenville and Rayburn H. Butler of Lexington; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Butler is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Linda A. Butler and two sisters, Audrey Jacocks and Melva Nugent.
Mrs. Butler's family would like to thank Ark Hospice for the love and care that they showed to their mother. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holmes Bible College, 4901 Old Buncombe Road, Greenville, SC 29617.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 4 from 12:00 pm until 1:15 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest followed by the funeral service at 1:30 pm in the chapel.
