Orville Elwood Czykoski Jr., 72, of Houghton Lake passed away on Friday January 23, 2015 at King Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre.

Orville was born on March 12, 1942 in East Jordan, Michigan to Orville and Lydia(Peters) Czykoski. He graduated from Vanderbilt High school. Orville worked as a foreman for East Jordan Plastics from which he retired in 2004. He had owned the bar in Elmira for several years. Orville enjoyed playing cards and working on cars.

Surviving Mr. Czykoski are his three sons, Earl (Dawn) Czykoski of Elmira, Orville E. (Marie) Czykoski III of Elmira, and Harold (Ranae) Czykoski of Elmira; daughter, Caleen Niedling of Gaylord; daughter, Kandi Firman of Gaylord; fifteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon (Rob) Glaizer of Boise, ID, and Linda (Junior) Barnes of Vanderbilt; two half brothers, Mike Czykoski of Vanderbilt, and Pat (Page) Czykoski of Boise, ID; step sister, Dawn (Tom) Glaizer of Boise, ID; two step brothers, Bob (Barb) Gault of NY, and Dick Gault of Boise, ID; several nieces and nephews. Orville was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Betty Powers.

Celebration of Life services for Orville Elwood Czykoski Jr. will be conducted at 12:00pm on Saturday January 31, 2015 at the Elmira Township Hall in Elmira, Michigan.
