John Roscoe "Jack" Fulmer, 92, widower of Anna Jean Cox Fulmer, died December 15, 2014. Born in Jacksonville on December 10, 1922, he was the son of the late Frances Ellen Lake and Richard A. Fulmer. Mr. Fulmer served in the US Army during World War II. He lived in Greenville most of his life, moving to Simpsonville with his wife in 1973. He was employed by WFBC Radio and TV for 40 years as a radio and television engineer. Jack loved serving his lord and Savior as a minister of music and choir director in several Greenville area churches, including East Park Baptist, Clear Springs Baptist and Fairview Baptist Churches. Surviving are daughters, Mary Ellen Garrett, Barbara Gary and Diane Rouser; grandchildren, Stacie Moss, Nancy Bracken, Patrick Gary, Noelle Duncan, Aaron Gary, Tiffany Arredondo, Megan Doolittle, Seth Rouser, Krissie Lancaster, Katie Preuss; 17 great grandchildren; brother, M. Richard Fulmer; sisters, Lena Smith and Sara Allison; sister-in-law, Chris Fulmer; brother-in-law, Arnold Alford; and many nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by stepmother, Hattie Hendrix Fulmer, son, Johnny Fulmer; daughter-in-law, Vicki McCall Fulmer; son-in-law, Jordan Chick Gary; and brother, Everett Lake Fulmer. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
