David W. Bailey, 86, of Greenville passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Victor N. and Eula Sheffield Bailey.
Mr. Bailey retired from Canal Insurance Company and served in the United States Army. Mr. Bailey graduated from Greenville High School.
He is survived by two sisters, Laura Huston, and Patricia Register; several nieces and one nephew, David H. Bailey, who lovingly cared for him during his decline in health.
He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Remembrance Chapel on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center, 1 Martha Franks Drive, Laurens, SC 29360.
