"I've lived this life, I love you all. I did all that I could do; I*m resting now, in peace with the Lord but my spirit shall always be with you. The love I had for each of you, even death can*t take it apart. For I took that love along with me embedded in my heart"

Clara Mae Burgman, affectionately known as "Little Sis", daughter of the late Wilbert W. Rowson and Emily F. Rowson was born on December 8, 1941, in Norfolk, Virginia.

Clara was raised in Creswell, North Carolina and at the tender age of 12 she moved to Kearny, New Jersey. She attended Kearny High School where she was known as *Happy-Go-Lucky*. After receiving her formal education, she relocated to Newark, New Jersey.
Clara was united in Holy Matrimony on May 23, 1959, to Lawson Burgman and to this union six children were born.

Clara devoted herself to being a wife and mother. In addition to raising her children, she also became a loving and caring *Mother* to many others. Her ability to love, encourage, motivate and minster to everyone that came in contact with her were her greatest attributes.

She began her career with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey on December 7, 1976, as a Patient Escort. After completing over 25 years of dedicated service, she retired on June 30, 2002, as Supervisor of Logistical Services. Clara gave all the glory for her successes to the Lord. Her life was exemplified by the words of one of her favorite scriptures, Psalms 23:1, which simply states....*The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.*

Clara, a true child of God, committed herself to Christ at an early age. She became a member of the Deliverance Evangelistic Center under the leadership of the late Apostle Arturo A. Skinner. Prior to departing this life, she was a faithful and dedicated member of Deliverance Jesus is Coming under the leadership of Bishop James H. and Pastor Vanessa Everett.

Clara leaves to await the coming of Christ: six children, Emilee *Bunny*, Kevin (Kareema) both of Newark, NJ, Beverly (Michael) Tucker of Upper Marlboro, MD, Jerry, David, both of Newark, NJ and Patrick of Montclair, NJ; one brother, Wilbert W. (Ramona) Rowson Jr. of Cameron, NC; also, seven granddaughters, Britne, DeAja, Nykia, Desaree, Thandie, Alnisa, and Amiyah; along with a host of relatives, friends, and many love ones.
