Younger days: I think the school district had to change the attendance policy for H.S. graduation because Pete had all his requirements met for his diploma a semester early wanted to skip a few weeks of classes before graduation. Smart guy. If they have to modify the rules because of your situation you've made an impact.
Corvettes? I remember hearing one run he was taking to the drags probably to Epping early 70's with open headers He was cool then and on from there. Great family man, good businessman.

Very sorry for the loss to the Wilson family, my thoughts are with you. I remember a group of us were heading to New York City for a New Year's Eve concert in 2002 and I wasn't sure what was the fastest way there and Pete was able to give me detailed directions to NYC in a split second. "Have to take the Tappen zee"....surely he had been down that road once or twice before.

I am so sad to know that Peter is no longer with us. I knew him such a long time ago when we were all just out of high school. Four of us friends had extraordinary experiences in the Canadian Rockies. He was best man at my wedding, and the indelible picture I have of him from that day is that beaming smile. The memories of five of us living in a camp on the lake in New Hampshire are like brilliant colored segments in a black and white movie. I loved Peter. But who didn’t? He had so much love in his heart and was so generous with it. When I moved to Colorado, there wasn’t much communication but he was there at important moments. Peter was such a genuine, sincere soul – I feel fortunate to have known him. This is such a tremendous loss. My deepest condolences to his entire family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the wilson family. Ill never forget growing up in the backroom up at the wilson compound.

Peter Wilson has a smile that is etched in my mind forever. Even when he isn't smiling the smile is still there. It is there in his cheeks and in the line around his mouth. He just can't hide it and it lights up a room with a few whips of the lips.

He is always quick with a joke and happy to make time for me when I visited either his home or bus station.

On my visits he'd show me around the bus station; showing me his latest improvement to the business, the latest airbrushed eagle, or the family bus with a new turbo engine to get everyone where they needed to be faster and more efficiently.

And then there is the thrill ride in his corvette. The black stallion of the road. I'd pop in the bucket seat and he'd pop the clutch - BOOM - off we roared.

Nothing but greatness in this man, husband, father, brother, cousin and so much more.

A life worth celebrating.

My favorite memory with Pete was helping Roland and me with his garage addition and installing the metal roof. Roland was rushing the job and Pete had the perfect words to slow his roll! "Hey roland come on up and you can put the last screw in!" We were so tired and sore but Boy did we laugh up on the roof!! Roland is not comfortable with heights! Pete touch many people! I am so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. I have so many memories of visiting Massachusetts as a child and Peter always helped to make those trips special. I will never forget the day he picked me up in his newly finished hot rod and took me for a ride! Even though I was only 6 years old I felt like I was 6 feet tall!

So unbelievably saddened by this loss. Pete was without a doubt a great man. He was always quick to make you feel at ease around him with his big smile and warm eyes.
I'll never forgot how doting and playful he was to his grandchildren, including my own son.
One memory that sticks out is when I went to the bus line one day to see his son Dane (also my brother-in-law), and Pete came right to my sons window to say hi. Enzo was being his shy self but Pete instantly broke through by offering him a pocket flash light to play with. He was always so friendly and generous with me and my kids. I will miss him. My prayers go out to Cheryl, his boys, all the Wilson's and every friend who will feel this loss.

Met Pete for the first time a year ago @ the Barrington Truck Show, but had spoken to him many times and we texted often to keep in touch. We had a mutual LOVE for hotrods, old trucks and buses. I had a knack of always catching him on the days he was headed to Boston for treatment and he seemed to be so amazed with my timing and appreciative of my good luck wishes. We had some very good chats about life and what his family and friends meant to him. I will miss him greatly and only wish I had met him sooner in life.

I was honored to say he was a friend and wish I could have known him longer will miss him greatly. I loved talking with Pete, you always learned something. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

When ever I need a hand with engine information or Prevost Bus parts Peter was always there to help me. I will miss him. May he rest in piece.

They don't make them better than Peter Wilson. This man taught me the only way to work and run a business. He always had a special way of doing things that would make me admire and respect him and his decisions. I was so excited back in 2004 when I reached a level of trust with him that he actually allowed me to work on his house. From the man who does everything himself, this really gave me a sense of achievement. Brannen, you have given me quite the gift by including me in your wonderful family. I love all you guys!
