The Stuff of Life
We cannot tell what may happen to us in the strange medley of life.
But we can decide what happens in us - how we can take it, what we do with it - and that is what really counts in the end.
How to take the raw stuff of life and make it a thing of worth and beauty - that is the test of living.
Life is an adventure of Faith, if we are to be victors over it, not victims of it.
A New Beginning
Every morning is a fresh beginning
Every day is the world made new.
Today is a new day.
Today is our world made new.
Mark had lived all his life up to this moment, to come to this day.
This moment - this day - is as good as any moment in all eternity.
We shall make of this day - a heaven on earth.
This is our day of opportunity.
Until we meet again my friend.

on a beautiful winter day, while trying to get my daughter out of the car on our way to the doctor for a follow up visit, I had the most interesting pleasure of knowing who you were. My daughter fell when she stepped out of the car, and right thru my arms, and within seconds you appeared like a TRUE HERO and ANGEL, you pulled over while working that day, and truly came to our rescue.
You picked her up like an angel carries anyone, and from that day on I looked at you like such a HERO and awesome guy, only to find out what a TRUE hero you had ALWAYS been to the town and community.
I will never forget you and your awesome kind heart. God must have needed another STRONG angel in Heaven to have left us so soon..
please know how grateful I am to have said I got to know what a beautiful person you truly are.
xoxo to your wife and family here on Earth....

It's a sad day when someone you grew up with passes away at such a young age . Mark was one of my best friends growing up,Mark myself and Bob G would always be doing something but the most fun was when we fished , Riding our bikes everywhere .

We share memories; family gatherings at Christmas, bicycle riding, Calvary Hi-League, fishing, long talks on every topic. In my Senior year, you convinced me to join the RHS Chorus. What a blast with the brilliant Mr. Cargill (and a bunch of cute girls) ! You grew on me. Yes, you were a strange kid from Staten Island. But, you had a brilliant sense of humor with a HUGE heart. Then our lives took different directions. As time went by, while I was busy with my life, I noticed and quietly respected your devotion to our neighbors. I’d hear stories. Completely “off the hook”, but very serious in your commitment to serve our community. Very cool. Embarrassed sometimes. Overall, immensely proud. Linda was a gift from God. And you know it and owe her big. Who can question God ? Obviously, not us (see Book of Job). We do not understand. But we will. I’m reassured that you retained your spiritual side amidst all the craziness. I look forward to seeing you again in Heaven.

Although I really have not seen you in awhile Mark. I know that I shall miss you. You were always just a great guy who loved to make people laugh. Your service to the Ramsey community is an example of what people should do in their towns. Thank you so much for all your efforts. Ramsey was a better place because of you.

He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has enjoyed the trust of pure women, the respect of intelligent men, and the love of little children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who has left the world better than he found it.

Linda and Christina, we are deeply saddened to learn of Mark's passing.

Y'all are in our thoughts and prayers.
