Please forgive my dilatory response, living so far away makes it difficult for me to be aware of any recent events relating to Texas, but I did know Sonya from LBJ high school. She was sweet then and through the LBJ website I come to know that she remain the same person. And although I didn't get a chance to see her during our 20th reunion, I can honestly say that since I've recently received this message, the news of her passing did sadden me. And I'm truly hurt to know she's no longer in this realm, my heart goes out to her family and friends. And may she rest in peace.

It hurts me deeply to learn of Sonya passing; she was innocent, kind and generous all at the same time. In my life time I have lost my Farther (at age 15); my sister (at 34), and now a close friend (Sonya) at 37. I’ve learn to stop asking WHY questions in my life time. Why isn’t important anymore because no justification will explain why a beautiful young lady with enormous potential has gone home so soon. Why....? – It’s just the way it is – I was told by my close mentor; don’t ask why – it’s just the way it is.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Sonya's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. She was a wonderful, beautiful person inside/out! I enjoyed working with her at Dell and then again at Bax Global. She will truly be missed! Love you Sonya!!

Hi, I met Sonya a few years ago through mutual friends and just heard about her passing. I'm very shocked and broken hearted by this. Noone ever knows what life will bring our way but the only way we can be strong is through God & Jesus. She is now in those great arms of our Lord & the happiest she has ever been! He is taking excellent care of her. I pray for everyone who knew her that we all stay strong and know she is ok.

I would like to send my deepest condolences to the Moblin family. It was late Thursday when I heard about this tragic and untimely death, it saddened my heart instantly. Sonya was a blessing to many and now she is with God, so please Lord take care of her in your big house. She will be missed here.....May God bless you Sonya.
