I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I only met her a couple of times, but she was a very sweet lady. I know she will be dearly missed. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

She was very warm and supportive of me during our time working together at SNET/SBC/ATT. It seems only yesterday that we were laughing and having fun at her retirement party. How emotionally upsetting to hear Barbara died so suddenly. We remained close friends since 5th grade. She treated me like a sister & made me extended family as Godmother to her wonderful daughter, Peggy. My heartfelt thoughts, prayers and gratitude for the loving care she received from her family. Barbara set a wonderful example over the years dedicated to her parents. She truly paved her way to a special place in heaven. Purple, her favorite color, will always trigger special memories of Barbara. May she rest in peace now in His loving care.

Both of us worked with Barb at different times, departments and locations within her years with SNET/SBC/AT&T and found her to be very knowledgeable and thorough about her work. Although serious at times, especially during auditing time when in charge of payroll at Science Park in New Haven, after she vented her comments, one could always eventually get her to laugh.

Her care for her father was admirable and she surely earned her place in heaven by her selflessness. She loved her family and heritage. Photos of her grandchildren were always proudly displayed. May you find comfort in happy memories from your lives.

I knew Barbara for 32 years while working at the Credit Union. I'm sorry that we never did find time to have lunch after retirement. I know she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She cherished her family and enjoyed visiting them down south.

When I moved to Science Park, I was scared to death of Barbara. She ran a tight ship. Once I got to know her, to know her was to love her. I still treasure the Patty's Day (and other special I inherited) Beanie Babies that she gave me. My thoughts are with you.
