Thank You Jimmy for all the great music and conversations back at the old Downtown Steakhouse in the 70's. You will be missed.

To the family of Jimmy Binkley,
Please accept my deep condolences at this time of great loss. I knew Jimmy having heard him play the piano at Jumer's. His smile was as infectious as his personality. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and mental powers by means of Christ Jesus during this time of grief. (Philippines 4:7) He and his piano playing will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,
Debra Jackson

In the senior entertainment world around these parts Jimmy Binkley is what we all aspire to be. He is the "King." I never had the pleasure to meet him but heard about him everywhere I performed. I've been told more than once "You're OK but you're no Jimmy Binkley!" He has touched so many hearts and souls and made so many people smile. What a blessing he has been. Thank You Jimmy!

Jimmy was a bright light to everyone he touched. I would only go to Sky Harbor when I knew he was there and he would play Moon River for me every time. I would also cry every time I hear it because my mother used to play that song for me on her piano. He had a magic about him. An angel on Earth. The world will be a dimmer place without him. Rest in Peace, darlin'.

I have many fond memories of watching and listening to Jimmy and my mother Leah Pierson perform together. He loved to share his gift of music, especially with senior citizens in nursing homes. My heart goes out to his family and friends as he will be sorely missed. Please give mom & dad a hug for me when you see them Jimmy.

REALLY going to miss Jimmy at Sky Harbor and the old folks will miss him at the nursing homes. His talent was always there to be shared by all. A wonderful, kind, caring man to look up to and a blessing to all. RIP, Jimmy. We love you.

Back in the Disco era when I was building sound systems for many of the area clubs I used to meet my friends at the Downtown Steakhouse where Jimmy performed in those days. No matter what song he was playing, he would change his tune to each regular customer's favorite when they came in the door (and Jimmy knew them all and almost never missed!). One day when I walk through those Pearly Gates I'll bet Jimmy will be right there playing all of our favorites once again. God bless you Jimmy, and thanks for the memories.
