Rest in peace our dear friend. Too many fond memories to list. Your kids should be proud to have had you as their dad. So glad you joined our family for Christmas Eve this past year. One of our last great times together. You will be missed Robert. (Gerne Gernstein) God couldn't have chosen a better angel 🙏🏼. The Landscapes in heaven will be more beautiful than ever now. You'll always be in our hearts ❤️

Many memories surrounded our group of hockey coaches at Floyd Hall Arena. The children, our children, flooded the locker rooms every Saturday and Sunday! We all had such a connection. Bob enjoyed all of it!
I was happy to see him there because he always made us laugh.
He will be remembered as a nice coach and Dad to all the kids that skated with us!

I've known Gern since I was a kid, the world was our playground. He had a laugh that brought joy to all around him. As an adult, I would see him in the red truck and we would stop and talk and he would laugh that laugh and we were kids again. Miss You Gern!
