Curt and I worked closely together at General Motors from 2014-2016 as design engineers on a new SUV. He quickly showed was a technical powerhouse with his nose to the grindstone, always. In my mind at least he and I formed a team where I could be his megaphone, clearing the way for his design progress, while he powered away at engineering solutions. He probably didn’t know how much I enjoyed that. He gave me great vacation advice and every once in a while, told an interesting story like getting a ticket for taking a shortcut in downtown Royal Oak that involved illegally walking along the railroad tracks with his friends from Chrysler (and as you can imagine was told to me with sarcasm about the terrible crime he had committed).
I miss Curt a lot and wish that we could still be friends.

So terribly sorry for your loss. Curt was an outstanding engineer and a wonderful person to work with. Curt always had options to complex problems where there was seemingly no answer. He will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this most difficult time.

Jill,
I was so sad to hear that Curt passed away, but I was SO glad you two found each other in life and were able to spend at least this short time together. I always tell my friends that you and Curt really did have a true love story, and though short in time, you did live happily ever after together.

Our sincere condolences to Jill and the family.
A gentleman, quiet nature but always very thoughtful, loyal, reliable and an achiever.
Always getting the job done without any fuss or fanfare.
A rare talented individual with many great skills.
He will be sorely missed by all who knows him.
