Guestbook for James Provenzano, Jr. Showing 1 - 25 of 30 entries.

I was surprised and saddened to hear about Jim. Jim, Conrad Calvano and I had a wonderful time at Pitt while in the band and studying electrical engineering together. When we all made it back for the band alumni games we told some stories - fond memories. I will keep him in my prayers, may God have mercy on his soul and help your family through your grief.

Our thoughts and prayers for all of your family.

James is a very real part of my recollections - rehearsals, games, and alumni events - a particular kindness. So proud to have served in the PITT Band with him.

Sincerely,

Prayers to family and friends. Cousin Jimmy was a wonderful, and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Aunt Mary was so proud as we are of the man he became. He will be missed but never forgotten. Sending my love to his beautiful Norma and family! Carmela

To Norma and family:

Thinking of you all during this time of loss. Reading Jim's obit I can see that he was a very accomplished, loving, and spiritual man who surely enriched your lives and the lives of many others.

So sorry to learn of Jim's passing. He was Section Leader in Fall of 1960 with the Pitt Varsity Marching Band under "Ace". We both were freshmen in the fall of 1957, but Jim was a real trumpet player and I was a 2nd cornet player. He epitomized what a leader should be. He'll be sorely missed by you all, and everyone who knew him. He left too soon!
