So sorry, but I just heard of the passing of Doretha. She and my sister Gwen Patton were very good friends, and I know the family very well. Please forgive me for not being there for you all and not knowing. God be with each of you and give you peace and understanding.

With love/Veronica Patton

Mother Dorotha was the Mother of my Best Friend, Mary Louise, and I lift you and the Family up in Prayer, as you prepare to lay Mother to rest. She was witty and funny and she didn't hold no bars, and for this, I thank you. God is good and He will provide you with the comfort that you will need as time passes, Mary Louise. I thank Mother Dorotha for allowing you and I to blossom from them little Girls at Sims Elementary to where we are today and I wouldn't change it for the World. Mother is gone with God now and the memories that I have of her will forever linger on in my heart, my mind, and my Spirit! I cried when you called me, but now I rejoice in the Name of the Lord. I can now, reach back, when ever I want to and pull out something crazy that our Mothers said or did to us and laugh, memories!!! Loving you always!
