We were neighbors across the fields from the Bretners. Our farms were on the same level across the hills. Remember Kveta as we attended Troy Mills schools. And saw her at the last school reunion held in Troy Mills. She was a charming person and obviously a contributor to her community. We extend our condolences and remembrance to her siblings, children and families. The Alice Akers Family, a Buchanan County neighbor.

I knew Kveta for many years and talked to many school groups in Stanton County and Norfolk when she asked me to do that. She was a wonderful person. I will miss her very much and will continue to think of my good times with her and Bruce as time goes by.
